Murray Wins The Daytona 300
The Inaugural Premier Racing League Daytona 300 was one to remember, with only 3 cautions and 23 lead changes between 12 different drivers. In the end, Dan Murray takes home the prestigious win, and becomes the first ever AdvoCare Cup Series winner. Dan took the lead with 7 laps to go and was able to fight of a hard charge from Johnathon Caddell and Scott Eckrich on a late race restart.
Jake Wright who won the Savage Spinners Pole Award last week comes home with a solid finish in 7th after leading 26 laps. Johnathon Caddell lead the most laps with 34.
Murray, Eckrich, Jette, Hassert, and Caddell also qualified for the first AdvoCare Fast 5 race at Charlotte for the AdvoCare World 400 in May. If one of those drivers can win Charlotte, they will take home a extra $50. Dan Murray also took home a box of AdvoCare Green Apple Spark for his win in the Daytona 300.
Steel Horse Racing Red will lead the Team Standings after Daytona.
Next week the series heads to the legendary Rockingham Speedway for the Cody Gibson Relief Fund 200.
