Rhyne Victorious At Vegas

vegas winnerTommy Rhyne used pit strategy to get the jump on the rest of the field Monday to take the Las Vegas 150 in the Coastal Safety Auditors Grand National Series. James Krahula won the pole for the event and swapped the lead multiple times with Rhyne during the first half of the event. The race only saw 1 yellow but 14 lead changes between 6 drivers. After 2 rounds of green flag pit stops, Tommy was the first to pit road and used the fresher tires to his advantage to gain time on the rest of the field. Rhyne was able to maintain this lead and came home with his first victory of the season.

James Krahula maintains his points lead over Jake Wright who moves into 2nd. DJ Beverly and Tommy Rhyne join the Top 5 with Deal Mears rounding it out. Next week the CSA Grand National Series heads to Irwindale Speedway for the first broadcast race on the Global SimRacing Channel.
